Fit Testing Services
EAR TECH is
dedicated to maximizing client experience in a
timely manner, all of the time. Our
support center, regional staffing, and "test
in the facility" model means that we're
there for our customers when they need us.
Qualitative Fit Testing
At EAR TECH
we offer Qualitative Fit Testing services that
are in compliance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR
parts 1910 and 1926.A certified physician will review
all medical questionnaires and make
recommendations regarding employees ability to
wear a respirator. Employees who qualify for
respirator use will receive a Fit Test Pass
card.
Who
needs Fit Testing?
OSHA Respiratory
Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134) requires
every worker who wears a tight fitting
respirator must be fit-tested prior to initial
use to identify an acceptable MAKE, MODEL and
SIZE respirator, and at least annually
thereafter.
Certified Professionals
The EAR TECH
technicians who perform the Fit Test are
certified professionals who can provide the
proper instruction on the correct use of the
respirator.
